Short version: Countdown Days does not collect any data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. Everything you create stays on your devices.
What we collect
Nothing. Countdown Days has no server, no account system, and no third-party SDKs. We cannot see your events, and no one else can either.
Where your data lives
Your countdown events are stored locally on your device, in your app's private storage.
If you have multiple Apple devices, data may sync through your own iCloud account using Apple's standard iCloud capabilities. That transfer is between your devices and Apple's iCloud — it never passes through us, and we have no access to it.
The optional backup feature exports your events to a file you choose to save or share. The file never leaves your device unless you send it yourself.
Permissions
Notifications: used only for the optional day-before and day-of reminders you set up. Processed entirely on your device.
No other permissions are requested. The app does not access your photos, contacts, location, or any other data.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, this page will be updated and the effective date above revised.
